This post is here as a bit of an introduction and to give you a little pre-curser on our up coming posts, there’s going to be loads of recipes for food, drinks, desserts all with one thing in common - tea!
Let’s just say I have never been a huge follower of recipes, I have always been under the mind-set that its the ‘taking risks’ and ‘not needing a recipe’ will always pull me through to a delicious mouth watering dish. Don’t get me wrong, I encourage you to change things up, let me know if you tried something different, if it worked and if we should give it a crack in the kitchen too.
But they do say the first sign of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.. I’ll be the first to say I was going crazy with how bad my dishes would turn out so I found myself turning to google. Who knew (obviously not me) that when you follow a recipe all the way through you don't end up putting two table spoons of salt into your Alfredo instead of two table spoons of salt - reduced butter (that second part was on the next line, true story).
Any who, what I am trying to get to is that I am all for creativity, I hope that you will find that as something shining through all of the tea-infused recipes, and please forgive me if maybe things go a little out of hand.. I JUST BLOODY LOVE TEA.
